Fall in Love with Bayfield

Have you popped into Bayfield Village lately?

You really should and if you haven’t, then come on in and prepare to “fall in love.”

The leaves in Park, Clan Gregor Square have just started to turn colour and there is a fresh crisp smell in the air. You can find plenty of room for a picnic in the park or a good stretch of your legs after a long drive. There’s a big playground, a big beautiful gazebo, and a ton of room to walk your dog too!

In our Village, there are signs of Fall everywhere and not just in the big ole’ trees. In our shops, you can also find soft warm sweaters, cute boots, cozy hats as well as all kinds of unique fall decor and treasures. The comfort of hot coffee is brewing in our coffee shops but that doesn’t stop the obsessed ice cream lover to pop over to our ice cream shops (I’m sure the ice cream stores will be closed when the snow hits though). Or if you need something a little stronger, try our wineries or breweries! They’re in the village and surrounding the village.

Adventure Awaits

Or maybe you’re an adventurist and you’d rather be on the water or in the water? We have many folks who love to hunt for beach glass and keep them in a display jar. Or maybe you love to walk through our historic village or explore our trails. There is so much to see and do, perhaps you’d like to book a hotel, rental, or Airbnb so you can take it all in? You’ll find that here as well, just look under our Member Directory.

Yes, it’s true this year we have seen our share of construction, (we prefer to call it Bayfield’s Beautification Plan) but that hasn’t stopped our tried and true guests who know that you can’t find a place like Bayfield just anywhere and wish to be part of the movement, so a little bit of construction won’t stop them. There is still plenty of parking and loads of room to walk up and down the sidewalk area. We truly appreciate those who choose to shop local and support our little businesses.

Take a ride or stroll over our NEW Bridge

Did you know, we have a new Bayfield Bridge? It’s a beautiful and magnificent gateway into our little Village. Seeing is believing and you want to see this bridge up close as it’s breathtaking!

As you can see in the photo, it’s still being tweaked, as our newly constructed sidewalk is almost ready, but in the meantime, our amazing construction workers have provided a temporary sidewalk (shown here) that will give you an up close and personal walk-through so you can take loads of photos for your memories!

Christmas in Bayfield

The Bayfield Chamber of Commerce has been busy preparing for Christmas in Bayfield which will happen from November 18- 20, 2022. Stay tuned for updates to our Christmas in Bayfield page. We have an entire weekend planned with fun for the entire family!

There is always something going on here as you can see from our Upcoming Events page. The beauty of the village and shores of Lake Huron have been a scenic place for our guests to relax, recharge and renew during the fall/winter months.
