Join the community to run, walk, bike, or blade in support of the Terry Fox Foundation and help keep Fox’s dream alive. A guided 3 km walk leaves from the Clan Gregor Square Gazebo at 10 a.m., while runners, bikers, and roller bladers are welcome to choose their own route and time. Bayfield has already raised over $75,000 through past Terry Fox Runs, and organizers are truly grateful for this ongoing support.

Register online as an individual, family, or team to start collecting pledges—or simply donate by visiting the Bayfield Terry Fox Run site. Cash and cheque donations, as well as Terry Fox T-shirts ($25) and participation seals, will be available on Sept. 14 between 9–10 a.m. at the Gazebo.

FOBL is now looking ahead to September and would like to invite people to come paint a still-life masterpiece during their Paint Fundraiser

This evening of painting will run from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Little Inn of Bayfield. Participants will enjoy a personal charcuterie snack while receiving painting guidance from Leslee Squirrel, instructor. Registration is $65 per person which includes all materials.  There will be a cash bar.

Register by sending an E-transfer of $65 to contact@fobl.ca along with name and phone number. Anyone who may have questions should also please email contact@fobl.ca.

Beginner or intermediate painters are most welcome to come and be part of a fun evening – look for the Paint Night Fundraiser poster on bulletin boards in the village and library or go to fobl.ca for further details.
