Where it ALL began!

We love Bayfield so much as it holds many happy memories for us. We were engaged at the Little Inn and returned for our wedding night, and for many anniversaries after that. We finally bought a cottage in Bayfield and continue to make wonderful family memories here ❤️

"All Four Kids"

As a family, we always come and check out Christmas in Bayfield. Bayfield has been a tradition in my family for a long time, starting from wing night at The Albion and frozen yogurt at Copenhagens to now bringing our kids to Copenhagen’s for fries and fun in the park.

“Just the two of us”

Christmas in Bayfield is now a tradition in our family so the picture taken was our yearly stroll through the main street to see all the stores lit up with their Christmas lights and displays, with hot chocolate from The Pink Flamingo in hand. We look forward to next year!

“Family Time”

We were visiting my parents during Christmas in Bayfield. It’s a family tradition to visit for this annual event and to see the lights. This year we were thrilled to see the NEW Winter Wonderland lights. The kids were mesmerized by the lights so we had to get some photos in the Crystal picture frame!

My family and I live near Glencoe.

We first visited Bayfield in 2020 during COVID when we rented a cottage through Cottage Stays.

We fell in love immediately.. from the people to the restaurants, shops, and beaches.

Since that time my husband and I come to Bayfield EVERY Friday to have a date night where we go to our favourite restaurant: Bayfield Brewing Company

We have also rented a cottage through Cottage Stays in 2021, 2022, and this upcoming summer.

We have made some good friends and have been told we are a "mom and dad" to the young employees at the restaurant.

Bayfield is also so special to us that our daughter recently got engaged on the pier on December 30, 2022.

“My Men”

Kurt and Isabelle are a young couple from London who often find themselves in and around the town of Bayfield enjoying every local attraction it has to offer.

Bayfield, to them, is the perfect weekend destination. It has been home to many dates (from the restaurants to the Book Store to the many breweries), including lots of exercises (from the lake to the trails and golf courses), and most importantly lots of love (everywhere in between) ❤️

Christmas in Bayfield is a wonderful family tradition. Our grandchildren enjoy the lights, parade and especially the arrival of Santa. What a thrill when the lights came on this season, the new displays are beautiful.

As the saying goes “you don’t get to choose your family…” but Gavin is a member of our family that we did get to choose…and we couldn’t have chosen better. He loves nothing more than a walk around town to take in the latest smells and sounds, and never to shy to stop for a pic!
